Grace is a print stylist/editor for the American Vogue magazine, she was also a former Welsh model. Grace was born on April 20, 1941, in Anglesey, Wales. In her teenage years, she showed an interest in fashion by always awaiting her issue of vogue magazines. during that time she found her love for the style of chic fashion. This interest in fashion continued on into her life as she became a model for vogue, but stopped after a car accident that left her with head injuries and a removed eyelid.

Thankfully, two years after the accident she was able to become a junior editor for the British Vogue magazine. later on, though she moved to New York to work for Calvin Klein. lastly, in July 1988, she joined American Vogue as the magazine's creative director.

Grace's styling is known for the making of large, complex, and dramatic photo shoots that catch your eye immediately. Coddington's career is so remarkable that she has made some of the most memorable images and that she has made American Vogue reach new heights of success, both in terms of business and in its art. lastly even Sally Singer, Vogue’s Creative Digital Director, says that: “There’s no one who can make any photographer take more beautiful, more interesting, more romantic, more stunningly realized pictures than Grace.” There is no lie to that statement because her work speaks for itself.
