Low Rise Jeans

Low rise jeans were really popular in the 90s and now they are back. Below the hip with a vintage wash and bold pattern give a unique look, that will help any man in denim standout. Even having them distressed a little can help.

Jean Jacket Revamped

The jean jacket is always in style and wont go out for a while. But now we are revamping it to a shirt like weight. Its also using more colors, pastels to be more specific. Also have patterns and little artistic drawing can make a big statement.

Utility Denim

The utility trend has been taking storm with the fashion industry. Now its taking its turn with denim. Specifically in accessories, chest pieces like fanny packs and vest. The colors can vary but the most common is the dark wash, dark/ colored denim, and varies of beige.

Justification

The Men's Denim department Key brands are The Rail, Levis, Lee, and G-star in certain areas. Michigan Avenue and Oakbrook making up 70% of the denim assortment. 20% of the assortment is made up of other brands and 10% of the inventory will come from new, fashion forward denim labels. Brands that are comfortable, sustainable, and affordable are what customers value. Our classic brands like Levi and Lee still represent an "in" look and are affordable. New looks and more forward brands such as G-Star will be carried in smaller amounts at the main stores. This will make up 20% of the inventory with 10% for testing new labels.

This Denim jacket was designed in a collaboration with Levi exclusively for the Nordstrom men's denim Department. Levi's tend to have trendy and simple styles and this denim jackets is perfect for both to be introduced in fall 20/20. As an exclusive item, this is one of the more expensive pieces of the collection. However, since this item has both a light wash and dark wash side it is like having two blue jean jackets for the price of one. The Jacket is for a more casual appearance but it can be dressed up, however the customer wears it. The silhouette has the simple everyday look, but is reversible to have the option of have two different colors.In the end, this jacket provides ease of have two jackets in one, this cuts down on the cost of buying two different color jean jackets.

To encourage customers to buy this product, 10% of all proceeds will be donated to NCHV.
