Men's Suits
Brief History
Over the last 10 years men's suits have not changed drastically in shape but have shown variations in color, style, and fit. Men would mostly wear gray, blue, brown, and black suits in the past but after the 1960's suits started to see more colors like maroon, green and even yellow. During this time, men's suits experienced a drastic change in style and fit. The suits started to become more fitted and unique. It wasn't the dark and broad shoulders anymore, it was "the brighter and louder the fabric the better." But soon after that era, suits went back to more subtle colors. As of now, we are taking a big turn in men's suits again, because we are using prints, as well as more feminine colors and prints. The shape is also slowing changing and becoming more drastic and unique. Below I am showing examples of mens suits from the last ten years.

In this A/W 2020 trend we will a lot of vibrant prints and emboridery like the from the 1600's. For this forcasting we will have a lot of light colors, such as pastel blues and pinks. We will also see a more feminine touch to suits as well as a more structural feel to it. Below I have given a mood board to express exactly what I am refering to.
